The terms and conditions for utilizing these services are as follows:
Step One
Extensive and comprehensive consultation is undertaken with the client to establish their interests, their budget and general ground requirements and expert advice given in good faith.
Step Two
marieke’s Art of Living within 7 will days provide a range of optional itineraries for the client’s further deliberation and consideration. This is a refinement process. If the client accepts a finalised itinerary and indicates their agreement to go ahead to make reservations they undertake to give a credit card by way of guarantee and, an immediate non-refundable deposit of $500 per person is required.
In the event the deposit is not sent and the client changes their mind and cancels their plans and reservations have already been activated, then a fee of $500 per person applies, plus the cost of any cancellation fees being applied at the time by service providers such as hotels.
Step Three
90- 120 Days before travel commences the client undertakes to furnish a further deposit amounting to 30% of the cost of their arrangements.
Step Four
90 – 60 Days before travel commences, the client undertakes to provide the final balance of payment, after which point Cancellation fees will apply as outlined in the Itinerary specifications. Clients are urged to undertake comprehensive travel insurance to cover the eventuality of cancellation. The client will be notified of any hotel cancellation policies that apply at the time. After the commencement of travel, any services not used, for any reason, cannot be refunded.
Step Six
In the event that a client chooses to pay their expenses as they go, then a fee will be negotiated for the advice given, the reservations and other arrangements made, based on the length of travel and the destination.
Step Seven
The client is sent a finalized detailed, itinerary, extensive preparatory travel notes, a reading list and contacts for all the hotels being used.
PAYMENTS:
Payments can be received by cheque by direct bank transfer and by all major credit cards (with a small service fee depending on the card nominated).
marieke’s Art of Living does not book airline tickets, except internal domestic airline tickets pertaining to travel arrangements.
